Well hello family! Well it looks like I have come full circle... Literally! It seems that I will start and end my mission down in the West Texas town of El Paso! So God has a very funny sense of humor. I am in El Paso for the summers and Santa Fe for the winter. I don't really think that it is funny... But what can we do. This week has been pretty good week, again it has been above 110 most days. And we have been walking around a lot trying to find people. So hopefully I will come home tan and skinny! Hopefully ;) But now lets get on to the stories of the week!
Story 1 The Tale of Sister Garate:
Sister Garate is my new companion. She is 20, from Nevada, and the oldest of 8 kids. She has a brother in the MTC who is going to the Philippines. She can play the piano and the cello. And she is a nerd like me :) She loves Harry Potter, Zelda, and Music. I am so very grateful that she is my companion! We have had lots of fun and will have lots of stories to tell soon! Story
2 The Tale of Irene and Sister Sullivan:
We are teaching a lady named Irene. She is a very interesting person, she is kind of upset at God for something but we don't really know why. This past week she was asking questions like why God can let innocent people die and do nothing to help the world. And no matter what scripture or gospel truth we said she would not open her heart. Then the member who was with us named Sister Sullivan. Was able to bare such a powerful testimony and was able to say things that we could not. This just solidified my testimony in having members with us! So go out with the missionaries! They need you more than you know! Well that really has been my week. I hope that y'all are having a great week and I cant wait to hear from you soon!!
Love Sister Chatwin
